Tori Seymour
Tori Seymour is the President of the SC State Local Alumni Association and a math educator in Columbia, SC. A Spring 2013 initiate of Tau Beta Sigma, she remains deeply involved in promoting band life, especially for women. At South Carolina State University, she held several leadership roles, including President and Treasurer. Outside of teaching, Tori runs multiple businesses and DJs in her spare time. She’s passionate about service, guided by her favorite quote from Shirley Chisholm: "Service is the rent we pay for the privilege of living on this earth."

Medea McNeil
Medea, a native of Atlanta, GA, is a Cardiac Sonographer and proud Life member of the Epsilon Chi Chapter of Tau Beta Sigma since April 2001. She’s also active in the Order of the Eastern Star and the SC State Alumni Band Association. A wife, mother, DIY enthusiast, and small business crafter, Medea lives by Proverbs 16:3 — “Commit to the Lord your work and your plans will succeed.”

Jasmine Lewis
Jasmine Lewis serves as our new Corresponding Secretary. She is a Spring 2018 initiate of the Epsilon Chi chapter. During her undergrad tenure she served as the Treasurer and Vice President. In Spring 2021, Ms. Lewis graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and a minor in Human Resources.

LeKretia Gonzalez
LeKretia Gonzales is the Treasurer of STATEITB AA and a Spring 2008 initiate of the Epsilon Chi Chapter of Tau Beta Sigma. With a background in finance and accounting, she’s held multiple treasurer roles in both collegiate and professional settings. LeKretia is passionate about fiscal responsibility and advancing the organization’s mission through strong financial leadership. Fun fact: she believes “good music and good budgeting are both about finding the perfect rhythm.”

Charlise Mills
Charlise Mills, a proud native of Charleston, SC, is honored to serve as Chaplain for the SC State ITB Local Alumni Association. She is a Spring 2001 initiate of the Epsilon Chi Chapter of Tau Beta Sigma National Honorary Band Sorority. Beyond her dedication to Tau Beta Sigma, Charlise is a devoted boy mom and an award-winning REALTOR® serving families across the Charleston Tri-County Area and Columbia, SC. Passionate about faith, family, and service, she strives to uplift others through both her personal and professional commitments. One of Charlise's favorite scriptures comes from Matthew 20:26 "Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant." -NIV

NaTorie Ladson
Ms. Natorie Ladson is a native of Georgetown, SC. She graduated in Fall 2024 with a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, concentrating in Applied Exercise Science. While studying at SC State she played the trombone and the trumpet. “Choice, not chance, determines one’s destiny.”
Parliamentarian

Yolanda L. Bennett
Yolanda L. Bennett is a 2006 initiate of Tau Beta Sigma National Band Sorority, Inc., and currently serves as Parliamentarian for the South Carolina State ITB. Over the years, she has also held roles such as Treasurer and Keeper of the Muse, reflecting her commitment to leadership, service, and the promotion of music. Professionally, Yolanda is the band director at Woodland Middle School in Dorchester, SC, where she works to instill musicianship, discipline, and community in her students. Beyond the classroom, she is a creative entrepreneur who enjoys bartending, photography, and spending time with her family. She lives by John C. Maxwell’s words: “The best place for a leader isn’t always the top position… it’s where they can serve the best and add the most value to other people.”
